Sound research

In this opening sequence the sound starts off with really intense dramatic music the music is very dark and makes the audeince wonder what is going on, this is a good use of non- diegetic sound as it adds enigma. The music then begins to get louder and louder as the camera glides across the water. We are shown some shots of cars driving fast and we can also here the diegetic sound from the cars. We then hear the bullets being pulled out, this almost sends shivers down your spine and would make the audience wonder what is happening. The music gets more louder and higher pitched as it gets closer to the bridge which would make the audience be on the edge of there seat as this signifies that somthing is about to happen. The screen goes black for a few second and then you hear a gun clicking that's when the music gets even more higher pitched until it stops and you hear the diegetic noise of the car being driven fast, we then hear loud gunshots and the screeching of tires. The music then shins again once they leave the tunnel, the music becomes fast paced signifying the chase scene.
